Our aims
Our team works to offer a family and young person friendly service, reducing harm caused by alcohol and drug use.
Our service is equally accessible to all. We work closely with other agencies to provide the best care possible, aiming to help young people to reach their full potential.
Who we are
We are a friendly, non-judgemental, understanding specialist team of workers from a variety of backgrounds, including Health, Youth and Community Work and Education.
We work to agreed legislation and all our policies are endorsed by the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB).
Who we support
Our service is aimed at 10 to 18 year olds and their families and carers.
We support:
- young people who use drugs
- young people who drink alcohol
- young people who have a family member who uses drugs and/or alcohol
- parents or carers of young people who use drugs and/or alcohol
We offer
- Telephone support and advice for –
- young people
- their families and carers
- professionals
- Specialist assessment
- Targetted prevention and treatment
- Family and one-to-one work
- Links to other services
- Help and support with all aspects of the young person’s life, for example education and family relationships
- Care packages tailored to meet the individual’s needs.
